The company works with local and international corporations to find, train and retain great employees. The problems they face are typical of a fast growing SME: how to scale by reducing manual workloads and how to reach a broader audience.
A client engagement starts with Field Ready shortlisting people with the right profile from their extensive candidate database. Invited candidates apply for the recruitment programme by undertaking logic and reasoning tests, essay based assessments and an interview. Successful candidates then undertake full employability training before being placed in their new job.
Working with Verse
We created a custom portal that automates key aspects of programme management. Candidates register to gain access to key employability resources and webinars, and to apply for programmes. The registration process enables Field Ready to systematically profile and categorise candidates. Sophisticated search and filter systems streamline the candidate shortlisting process.
Recruitment programmes are now fully digitised. Candidates take all tests online and both self-paced and instructor led training is delivered via the platform. We also refreshed the public website to clearly and persuasively communicate the company's value proposition.
The new portal's self-service workflows and automated processes have created a step change in productivity. Field Ready staff have been freed from manual tasks and candidate assessments and training can now be delivered at scale.
Cost savings have been made and programmes are more consistent and reliable due to templated systems. The website has improved reach and communication with Field Ready's entire community of candidates, clients and partner organisations.
